i went to see my cousin Umar today at his business outlet, and just as we were enjoying our chat, i spotted Jumma in this wonderful pose :)

i jumped at him and told him to hold still... you should've seen the look on his face, it was a beautiful blend of confusion and shyness... heheh :)

i quickly changed to the DX crop mode on the D3, converting my 50mm 1.8 lens to a 75mm lens :)

the light was natural, coming in from the window at some distance :) since the camera is set to AUTO ISO, the suggested ISO was 6400 and am so glad that i chose an aperture of f/8, to ensure lots of sharpness :)

there were some tweaks in capture NX, but i am so glad to have gotten these tones and the very very solid grain :)

i personaly love the inclusion of his hands, they tell a lot about him, and especially the cigarrete he's holding :)

it is said that certain thoughts are prayers, and that there are moments when the soul is on its knees irrespective of the body's attitude...

thanks for viewing :) let's see what u think of this one :)

Still I'm a learner but..
You chose an aperture of f/8,
to ensure lots of sharpness :)
...no..future I'll show the result of
high aperture and high shutter speed..
step by step..grain makes grain not sharpness..
Thank you for sharing
regards.
