Hi guy's
Here is my first pic for trek lens.The Photo is of The Alpinia Purpurata commonly known as the red ginger.The red ginger is a beautiful Flower from the south pacific,this one was taken in the yasawa islands in fiji.The flower is commonly used for decorating as it is so pretty.The pic was taken with a wideangle lens as it was the only lens i had with me @ the time.Also used a polariser.

Well presented and colourful image, sharpness is good - well done.

Maybe you could try having the flower off centre (remembering the rule of thirds) and crop away some of the background.
