[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I decided I would upload something that is NOT aviation related for a change =P

This is probably one of the most peaceful places on earth - a small bay on Waiheke Island. There was no one around for miles the day we were there. I don't remember what it's called, nor how to get there - however I do remember that it was a reasonable long drive on a single lane dirt road to get there! Worth it though, for the absolute peace and quiet.

Certainly a peaceful Scene Cadi.Nice composition and taking the photo a low tide reveals those close in rocks in the foreground. Nice colours and sharp detail. Well done.

Great to see a beach shot from you Cadi! I was surprised to see your username under this photo :). Looks great! Well composed with the tree on the left hand side and good POV for the wharf in the distance. Nice work following the rule of thirds too. Looks like a relaxing place to chill out.

I agree - Waiheke is a very peaceful place - I was at Waiheke on holiday for a week just before you took this photo (8-14 Jan 2007). And we loved it. And I was down there last Thursday - a stunning day like it is in this photo.
Looks like you travelled to the far side of the island - very well composed, sharpness and colours are perfect

A wonderful clear view, excellent how the bluish tones are shown here. Crisp and clear picture, the little bush at tle left side created a nice depth in this image. Well seen and presented!
