[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well, I guess it's that time of year again, the "Dog Days" of Summer. I found this little guy (or girl) hanging out on my tire and coming out of it's shell. It was almost exactly a year ago today that I posted Emerging and Emerging II.

PP: Very little done to the photo, applied Fade Correction, Clarify filter once, adjusted Hue/Sat, USM, added frame

Hope everyone has a great day!
Stephen

Ana

Unbelieveble! We can say for that one, you were at the good place in the good moment! With that picture we can realise how strongs are insect. Look at the small, very tiny point of contact with the surface. Hes legs support everythig during his mutation.
Fantastic!!

New life! Isn't it beautiful, the contrast between the colourful newborn creature and his old dull self... it seems they need this struggle to be strong enough for their new existence...

Your work here is flawless Stephen! DOF, sharpness... there really is nothing to nit pick on here... Well done!

Excellent capture Stephen. And so are your older photos. All very interesting, as we don't often catch them alive emerging from their sleep. Well shown, thank you.

Hi Stephen, this looks like some kind of a locust. Great detail and color I like this one very much.
