[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
St. Basils Cathedral in Red Square Moscow. I was in the process of setting up my tripod but a police car drove over and the officer told me i was not allowed to use it(something about with a tripod one is able to use a larger lens and thus prehaps be able to look at sensitive documents in the windows of buildings surrounding Red Square.)Got rid of a distracting light to the right of the picture.

Bad luck with the tripod - guess it was the police on duty 'cos I got down there early one morning and they watched me set the tripod up and shoot away..

Nicely composed shot, I like the slight blur too of the people..

Bonsoir Jer,

This is a splendid image. Even if it's a night shot, there is a brillance in the building that is remarquable. Image is sharp and well exposed. Compostion is simple but very effective. Great work and TFS.

Hi Jer. This is a great postcard from Moscow. The colors, snow people everything came together for this Photo. The blurring of the people is understandable for the low speed but it does not detract from the ambiance of the scene. Great post my friend.
