[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a small waterfall in the japanese garden next to Bampaku Expo 70's park in Osaka. My inaugural post here at TL.

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to mention the details (I'm new to TL). I didn't have much freedom to move for the composition because I was over a rock and I didn't want to get wet. This is a Photomatix HDR from a bracketing of three exposures with 0.0EV, -2.0EV and +2.0EV. After the HDR was done I did some fine-tuning using iPhoto, where among many minor adjustments I mainly boosted saturation quite a bit. Used PS for reducing the dimensions to fit this into a JPEG with 800px and 300kb for posting here.

Thanks to all your warm welcome messages! I will try to retribute the nice reviews as soon as I get more confident and habituated with the culture of the site.

não gostei muito do enquadramento mas... a foto ficou CHOU! :-)

Bellissima foto,bellissima cascata.
Complimenti!

Welcome to TrekLens Rodrigo

Nice use of the slow shutter to create that soft/milky effect on the flowing water. The rest of the shot is nicely sharp - although there is slight over-exposure on the brighter parts of the water, you could have avoided this by a slightly faster shutter or smaller aperture.

Composition works well here IMO, even with the waterfall in the centre of the shot, it leads in nicely from the upper-right corner.

Well done
Rew

Hi Rodrigo,
Welcome to TL. Delightful shot, it looks like free flowing silk. Great lighting and I like the rocks in the foreground. Nice work.

TFS,
Scott.
