Tried out a sepia shot of the Mecca mosque at Charminar during our recent photo visit. After the bomb blasts they have banned cameras inside the mosque. So we could only get this view from the top of the Charminar.

Mecca Masjid (Telugu: మక్కా మసీదు, Urdu: مکہ مسجد) is one of the oldest mosques and the biggest mosque located in Hyderabad, India. The mosque is believed to contain sacred relics, one of which is a hair of the Prophet Muhammad. Part of the mosque has bricks brought from holy city of Mecca which are part of the central arch. The mosque is adorned with Belgian crystal chandeliers.

It is located close to the historic landmarks such as Charminar, Chowmahalla Palace and Laad Bazaar.

Hello Sreya.
Thanks for the good note with this picture.
The sepia colours suits it well.
The point of view is not the best you take. Too much distracting things in forground.
With regards from Jan

Hello Sreya ji, wonderful idea to have sepia here to depict the oldness of the building. Nice tone and lighting. I understand from your position you could not have avoided the foreground disturbances. Nice picture. TFS.

PS: Thanks for uploading the profile pic, now we can associate your id to your picture.

Hi Sreya,
This is a shot nicely done in sepia. The sepia color makes the architectural structure look so great.
I like it!

TFS!

Hey Sreya,

Though I quite liked the current capture.
I just added my perspective via workshop.
I hope you like it.

AriBen

Hi Sreya,
I like this sepia rendition as it gives a very effective historic and vintage feeling, as the mosque is very special and quite ancient too.
Well depicted with its constraint and it is nice from this view.

Regards,
Foozi
