This is Nyhavn, a popular place for tourists to visit in Copenhagen (it’s always crowded…). The old buildings are nicely renovated in this harbour (they are very colourful that you can’t see now, later I will present it in ‘today’s’ style), moreover, lot of old fishing boats can be found there, so this composition was perfect for me to turn it into an old-looking image. Again, I only applied sepia filter and 3D framing, no other PP work was done.

Hi Kristof,
Awesome shot, the slightly off-centred boat looks great. Really suits the sepia conversion. Looks like a very busy place. Well seen.

TFS,
Scott.

Good morning Kristof,

splendid POV and composition in this photo. I like how boat is moved slightly to the right and people on the river bank are great asset to this image.

Thanks to you and your antique series, I have started to play around with a certain image in my photo collection. If it will turn out good, maybe I'll show it here on TL (it is royal palace in Brussels).

Have a nice day,

Stasa

Good Morning Kristof,

Many thanks for your good wishes.

This shot contains all the elements of a busy, city. The crowds give the shot a real vitality and they are within a setting of beautiful buildings and a quayside, which are all sharply focussed for our enjoyment.
The sepia treatment adds a feeling of age.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Kristof

The sepia color & old architecture, give the deceptive appearance, that this was taken sometime in the 19th century. Good sharpness & tonal range. Tfs!

Hi Kristof
a lovely way to present a nice place. great effect on a good shot. an old postcard has always an interesting and nostalgic scent.

Hi Kris:)
This look like tilted a little, but it is not a big deal.
I like atmosphere here and however I prefer warm brownish tones on sepia - this kind of split brown/ greenish one is working here pretty well.
Nice choice of this part of cityscape.
Tom:)

Ciao Kristof, beautiful view fron Copenaghen with fascinating sepia conversion, wonderful old postcard, very well done, ciao Silvio

I like that you made this a Sepia image Kristof,it does indeed make it appear like an early 1950's postcard.I like that you have taken it at a time when there are many people enjoying the harbour area.It appears as though the people have taken over the harbour from the fishing fleet.
