Welcome to TL.I feel that there is some focussing prob.The composition would be better if it was properly focussed.I think you should take another shot of the same flower.I am sure it will be perfect.have a nice weekend.

welcome to TL. I hope you will have good time on this site and maybe learn something useful.

About the image...the only thing that I really like is minimalistic composition. I see you have Nikon D40 (same camera as I am using), so try to make similar shot again - with this camera you can do nice images.

First thing you have to be careful of is - focus! Here it is completely wrong. Next thing that bothers me - the light. Too strong. Take care of that.
