Bugatti Veyron "Sang Noir"
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the Bugatti Veyron "Sang Noir" Chassis No. 170. The top deck of this car is entirely carbon fiber and just sold for a reported $2 million (USD). Apparently the owner (who I never learned the name of) owns another Veyron in a different color option. I photograph A LOT of cars, but was honored to be asked to shoot this one.
This is an HDR image using five exposures merged with CS3's HDR merge tool from Bridge. I then changed the image to a 16 bit mode in PS and adjusted light values. Then I saved the image without any other adjustments. Next, I brought it into the RAW tool and made the fine adjustments there. Last, I took it into PS again where I added a layer mask and burned in the top and side edges using curves. I Love how well you can see the interior in this shot!
If anyone has seen these cars in person you might have been impressed with how low their profile is. I didn't expect it to be that low.

Nice pp Steve - looks great.. Nice symmetry too.
I'm surprised by how sharp this is having been shot at f2.5..
Cheers
