Hi Scott,
This is a beautiful succulent by the name of Agave Victoria-reginae. Native to Mexico it is considered to be an endangered plant.
Blooms in summer, it has a long life cycle and sets flowers after approximately 20 to 30 years of vegetative growth, and the effort to produce the flowers exhausts the plant which dies within a short time. No wonder it's become endangered!
Beautiful photo. Colour, lights and patterns all please the eye.

Scott, who cares what this is called! All I have to say is—WOW!
Super contrast, light and shadow showing vertically as well as horizontally from the white partition lines of the plant.
And then the symmetry, and the fact that you chose such interesting framing.
Excellent crisp shot. Based on the comment by Karyn674 I now know what an Agave plant looks like. We buy Agave nectar all the time as an interesting alternative to honey.

I have no idea either, but I really like your photograph of it!
The patterns of green edged with white, of the individual leaves (blades? petals?) and the natural gradient of light through the frame is given extra impact by your composition here.
Very nice work

What makes this simple shot interesting is the play of light and shadow as well as the contrast between the green and the white outlines. The off center to the left composition is perfect. And sharpness is very good. Well done, Scott.
I have tried many shots like this one but each time they were dull and ended up being deleted.
