[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have been dying to take this photo for months, it has been something in the back of my mind.
I have seen photos of this station, the lines and geometry, I went there last Month and tried to capture some motion to break that geometry. It's a busy station and even late at night it was difficult to capture exactly what I wanted: one person dressed in black crossing the arch and this is the result.

Hi, Marc -
Your patience really paid off - this is a really captivating image. I love the black agains the richly-colored background. The effect of the blurred figure creates a sense of energy and motion, and I like where you have placed the silhouette within the frame. Great eye to imagine this, and great perseverance to wait until the scene formed the way you envisioned. Well done.

excellent subject, this black silhouette with the motion blur against the graphic & colored wall, a pure visual delight *

Very cool shot Marc!

A great addition to your series of urban shots. For me, I like the way the human breaks up the otherwise isolated urban scene...I like her placement just before arriving at the quick series of dark bands, but with an extended series behind her...like shock waves of motion...like when you are swimming the small waves you push out in front, and the longer waves you leave behind. And the great, saturated orange, cream and black look good too!

They need an icon for "envious" on TL.
