[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Inspired by the efforts that I have viewed on this site I decided to spend a cold, wet afternoon experimenting with water droplets. I used my Tamron 90mm macro, filled a bowl of water, placed it in the bottom of the shower and started shooting. After many tries I decided to put a CD in the bottom of the bowl to introduce more colour. The results were surprising but it took many attempts to come up with this one!
Any suggestions are very welcome.

The CD works wonderfully Pat. I love the colours here.
Looks like the mud pools at Rotorua - well, not really, but the explosion does :)
Well done
Janice

Hi Pat

Ha ha.... great minds huh! I tried to get a similar shot the day before you. I found it great fun but very frustrating at the same time. Excellent use of the CD. Good effect you have here. Here is my shot http://www.treklens.com/gallery/Oceania/photo514441.htm

Very cool shot Patricia. Perfect timing, you've frozen the droplets so well. I would never have guessed that this was created from a bowl of water at the bottom of your shower! haha. Love the rainbow effect, was worth the effort :).

TFS,
Scott.
