[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
my first post with the D700 :)

well, as you may know by now, i've sold the D3 and now own the D700 :) there was nothing wrong with the D3 at all, but i got the D700 just to experiment :) its doing very well so far :)

it is, in my short observation, slightly grainier than the D3 and the shutter lag (very important factor) is a couple of nano seconds delayed... :) but thats something i can live with :)

dont worry, my next purchase (very soon) will be the medium format Mamiya 645 AFD III with the Mamiya ZDb back and the 80mm Sekor lens :) its all about trying new gear and enjoying it :)

back to this photo :) it was taken in the eve today :) this kid is Tahaa, very cute, intelligent and quick-witted :)

for this photo, i asked him to smile but he gave me a 'robert deniro' look instead! hahah :)

i chose to leave it in VIVID mode, which i've been shooting in lately just for a change :)

slightly, very slightly cropped :) and thats it :) ISO 6400 :) 2.8 with the Nikkor 80-200 :)

Nikon D700 is a great working tool, but definitely it is still not better than the D3, (I am in love with it) well against of Mamiya 35mm format is his place but medium format or large format it cant beat.

The Pose by the young boy is a beauty itself, the body language he make is awesome the take is really great the eyes are in great moment.

Totally I love this scene
