The Eiffel Tower (French: Tour Eiffel, /tuʀ ɛfɛl/) is an iron tower built on the Champ de Mars beside the Seine River in Paris. The tower has become a global icon of France and is one of the most recognizable structures in the world.

Named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel, the Eiffel Tower is the tallest building in Paris. More than 200,000,000 people have visited the tower since its construction in 1889, including 6,719,200 in 2006, making it the most visited paid monument in the world.Including the 24 m (79 ft) antenna, the structure is 324 m (1,063 ft) high (since 2000), which is equivalent to about 81 levels in a conventional building.

Hi Mark !

A very interesting and beautiful by carrying them.
With a great contrast of colors.
We welcome the TL, much success, many points and pleasant comments.
Have a beautiful weekend,
Adrian

Hi Wats,

Nice composition in this image, I like the sepia finish, the cloudy sky really helps to add the drama and add texture!! Plus it gives a nice soft light!

The only thing I would do is to crop part of the foreground. The addition of people in the picture helps to give scale when compared with the tower. So, I croped out 2 to 3 cm and cloned out the man who is showing us his nice back ;)

To visualize better the above I did a workshop foryou, hope you like it!

Cheers

Karen

Hi Mark,
I like the view of the Eiffel Tower as you captured it, but I think that there are too many distractions in the photo.
I think sepia is well chosen with this image as it gives this scenery a touch of the old noblesse.

I tried to clone out most of distractions in a ws in order to show what I mean..
I hope you don't mind me playing with you photo. regards, heike
