I was having a hard time trying to figure out how to crop this, finally I decided to leave it as is and count on your suggestions.

Hi Karen

Cropping is really secondary when it comes to a fine composition like that. I like it as it gives plenty of room to imagine their next movement... anice and sharp in the dark bg that brings out the beauty of the details

Have a good day and TFS

Hi Karen,
Another great shot in the series. The poor girl looks like she's about to be sacrificed! Lol. The dark staging lighting has worked wonders once again, bringing out the colours and tones nicely. Quite a simple shot this time, but finely composed as ever. Well done.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi Karen
nice work and scene.I like it.Regards.A.

I think the crop you've settled on here is good. This shot needs negative space - as the stage would - it gives these two room to move and for the viewer to anticipate.

It's not easy to capture dancers, if it was me I would've gone for a much higher ISO - the maximum possible - and trusted in noise-reduction afterwards.

But given the shutter speed, you've done a great job with this indeed.

HI Karen
Once again you've done a great job of catching something that is definitely not easy. I like all the space around it.

This is just a suggestion if you want to try something different.
You could have placed the left foot of the first dancer on the frame and have the right one coming out of the frame.

Hello Karen.
Interesting pose presented.
Looks good on the black background.

Hello Karen,

I think your natural instinct came into play here. A crop is unnecesary, IMO.
I love the light, how it dances on the costumes and gives just a hint of refection from the floor. Otherwise, the dark b/g is great, adding drame and contrast.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Karen.
La lumière chaude donne à cette image un bel effet. La netteté est aussi parfaite et le cadrage est parfaitement réalisé avec des sujets bien placés dans le cadre.
Bonne journée.

Hello Karen! Wonderful mysterious scene. Beautiful women. Good background. Very good contrast and sharpness. Original work. Well done!

Hi Karen,
An excellent picture of this dance couple. Dispite the low light conditions, you managed to get a wonderful image. What Like the warm colours of the clothing here. ISO did you used? Anyaway, a great posting my dear!
