[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We had an old car show in Petaluma...celebrating the movie "American Graffitti" which was filmed here some twenty years ago...this is a 1962 Corvette made particularly famous by the TV series "Route 66".

I like the guy in the background with the James Dean sort of pose.

Hi Roger,

great way to remember that splendid movie. WOW, what a car! And yes, that guy in the BG really reminds me of James Dean a bit. :)

Shiny red Corvette, JD in the background...you couldn't have made better image. :):)

HI Roger
Something different from you but a real nice one.
Those were my days of fun and attending car races, you take me back to great era.
You really cropped it close, I like the angle with the white flanked tire really grabbing the attention.

Hi Roger, Really nice shot of this old 'Vette. I like the guy's pose too, and the red sign above adds a little 'zazzle.' Thanks, Dave

Hi Roger,
Great shot of this old beauty. Looks to be in pristine condition, must only get taken out for special occasions :). I love the vivid red colour, really stands out in the sun. The 'oldschool' white walled rubber wheels look great too. You took this from a great angle, well captured.

TFS,
Scott.

Roger,

Classic? You're not kidding!!! Absolutely the best year for the corvette was 1962-3 in my opinion. Of course red...it had to be red didn't it? :). Great angle chosen on your part. I also like the pose of the man looking at the car. This entire scene looks like it is from the 60's! :) Lisa

Hello!

Hi Roger,
The sixties and this car make dream still all this generation of boys and girls, Roger! Synonym of glamour, carefreeness and freedom and symbol of "all is possible".
Superbe bright image. I snap for this clone of James Dean! :)
Very nicely done! Annie

Hi Roger
Now that is another beauty in your gallery and that bloke in the corner knows it. Wonderful reds, and a good perspective to show us this beast in its glory.
Well done
Regards
Jim

Hi Roger,
Beautiful picture of this old Corvette of the 60,
well taken and lovely details...
I like the pose of the guy too..James Dean pose...
Excellent done..
great..
Michel

Very beautiful Car. Your POV is excellent. May I submit a workshop? I just can't resist, this car is classic. TFS

Hi Roger
This is a beautiful old Corvette - love 'em even though we don't see many here in the UK. I can RayBan shade on my nose and kicking the engine into life, just starting off down Route 66..!
Like the image very much - have you experimented with B&W / Colour Popping / Changing hue? If it were my choice I'd have perhaps four images filling each quadrant of paper in each of the states - ie, original colour; B&W with colour popped Corvette; B&W with colour hue - perhaps some magenta; and for the finale, paste in a cut-out of James Dean and/or Marilyn Munroe... well I've got an active imagination sometimes..!
TFS

Hi Roger,

beautiful "Little red corvette".
A few minutes after you did the shot I was there too but they had an other one standing there.
I thought I'd show you in the workshop ;)
Oh geee, just dreaming of being there... but the ws is "real".

Best regards,
Attila
