Oh yes! In this case, the color makes all the difference in the world (to me). All the subtle variations of pink to red, along with the contrasting yellow and green make this a wonderful subject. I like your point of view (pov) and your depth of field is well chosen to keep your eyes drifting back to the blossom in the foreground. Well done.
