[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Shot in the shabby part of Gothenburg harbor.
Pursuing the dream of one day leaving for the open sea, they never seem to give up.

Unfortunately iso 400, 24mm, was intended for a hdr merge.

Hello Roman,
Dark tones and heavy contrasts for a shabby environment. Very appropriate to convey the mood you describe in your note and photo title. No HDR needed, here. It already looks very intense like this (thanks to iso 400?).
Poignant juxtaposition of decay. This photo tells a story (of scattered dreams, indeed).
TFS & kind regards,
Erik

I like the effect of this - you have allowed the levels to remain low, preserving essential mood and subtlety to this shot. The gradient through the upper part of the frame really adds to it.
Nice job

Hello Roman,

I love the light and mood here . The old water canon , the machine shop gear, a bunch of metal paltes and beams, the welding machine and these old rusty boats are composing a superb shot. Looks like a typical small shipyard.
Well seen and presented,
Robert
