[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A visiting steam train to Hamilton, on a weekend excursion. I heard the whistle first thing in the morning from my house about 5kms away and rushed out hoping to find it. This was the best of my hasty shots before the train departed.

Spectacular photo Carl! The smoke, steam, colors, composition - everything combined to make a great railroad image.

I love how the locomotive is barely peeking out of the smoke and steam around it. Well seen and captured.

You might want to consider submitting it to RailPictures.net. I'm sure it would be accepted.

By far one of the better pictures ive seen the last periot Carl,the morning light and you are doing a perfect job.
