A well presented still life with a cane background!
A nice set up but I would prefer to add some bounce flashlight and light the background to bring forth the rim of the utensils!
I posted a workshop just to show my idea!
A pleasing warm color.

the muted earthy tones show up well with that side lighting.
The sharpness seems to be on the tall urn, while the others a bit blurred blend in nicely, giving soft results like a painting.

Very simple and effective, in still life the most difficult part is the arrangement of eliments. I guess u face the same thing :)

Although I am not sure why there is slight blur on the 3 still objects, I like your setup to have this presentation with the light. I like the choice of mat which blends well with the color of the objects.

Did you apply some blur effect?

Hello Mujahid,

I am impressed with your creativity with this photo. Good attention has been given to your arrangement of the vessels and the woven matting. Superb use of natural materials, I like your idea here.

Just two small suggestions for improvement, i.e. I would prefer more light to bring out more of the impressive character of each vessel. The suggestion is to post a bigger photo.

Bonsoir Mujahid,

Interesting still life. The light and the colors of the elements make it almost a Sepia picture. BG has nice texture that complement the delicatness of the vases. Directionnal light creates nice volumes. I am not quite sure the composition is balanced. I got the feeling their is excessive weight (mass) on the left. You should try some other variation with the same subject. That's the way to learn. Still a very nice picture. TFS.
