Direct flash is too harsh?
Want to make macro shot with beautifull softlight?
Don't have the money to afford expensive Softfox?

Don't worry! As you can see, it is possible to acheive a nice softlight if you can afford Chineese food. Check my workshop to understand.

Flash: Vivitar 285

Very good Alain - good demo of diffused lighting... I made a softbox for portraits out of an old shoebox and white cotton.. Photography can have cheap and easy accessories..

Anyway - nice sharp detailed macro.

David

Thanks for this educational post Alain.. excellent idea for macro work.

Bonjour Alain

Ciao Alain

I liked the collage and of the seminar here.
Two versions of even elements more use
of resources.
Both with your style and presentation.
Fine light results in attractive colours!

Greetings,

Sérgio
