Montreal's Abandoned Bikes Serie - 1
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Every year at the end of the winter, Montreal is full of rusty abandoned bikes still locked to where their owner left them.
I've always wondered what the stories of the bikes were. Why was the bike left like this? What happened to the owner? For how many winters has it been here?
Last spring, I went hunting the streets of Montreal, trying to extract some feeling from those bikes. |

Hi Nicolas,
This is very interesting...I like the thought behind your subject. Along with time a person acquires what he needs and also abandons what is no longer needed, sometimes unfortunately its not only material things, can be pets or even people. A harsh reality!
With this post you got me thinkng! You give feelings....to a bike!
I like the subdued colours and the harsh light, it all adds drama to the decomposing bike.
A great post with a deep thought!
My compliments

that model confessed to you correctly. A wonderful picture with the suspension seems only right.
