[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Die Burg Rappottenstein zählt zu den am besten erhaltenen Burgen Österreichs! Im 12. Jhdt. wurde sie durch "Rapoto von Kuenring" gegründet. Seit 1664 bis heute ist sie im Besitz der Familie Abensperg-Traun.

Die bewohnte Burganlage mit fünf Vorhöfen thront auf einem mächtigen Granitfels und wurde niemals erobert. Ein wunderschöner Renaissancehof mit Sgraffitodekor beeindruckt den Besucher ebenso wie die Fresken aus dem 16.Jhdt. und mehrerer gotische Gewölbe. Die Kapelle wurde 1378 in den ersten romanischen Flucht- und Wehrturm eingebaut (kostbarer Flügelaltar aus dem 15.Jhdt.). Im bezaubernden Burggarten mit herrlicher Fernsicht imponiert der Uhrturm, dessen Pendeluhr aus dem 17.Jhdt. stammt. Seit einigen Jahren wird Burganlage in den Sommermonaten für Kulturveranstaltungen genutzt. Ein reichliches Kulturangebot von klassischer bis moderner Musik, von Dichtungen bis hin zum Instrumentenbau wird den Interessierten geboten. Nicht zu unrecht wird die Burg Rappottenstein auch als Klangburg bezeichnet.

Hi Georg,
Nice wide shot of this old castle, wish we had this sort of thing over here. Really natural tones, great clarity too. Perhaps crop some more off the sky to give more of a balanced feel, which would also give it quite a panoramic layout. Well done though.

Szkoda, ze z naszego zamku w Checinach zostal tylko maly fragment i do tego ruin.

Doskonale zdjecie. Piekny zamek, utrzymany przez wieki w idealnym stanie. Super ostrosc, piekna kolorystyka. Ciekawie wykadrowane.
Szkoda, ze niewiele rozumiem czytajac notka (od bardzo dawna nie czytalam nic w jez. niemieckim)
