[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The dandelion came out nicely in color, though it was drab. I saved the RED channel and converted to greyscale, which was more dramatic, but wasn't enough to brag about.
Then I combined both into one image to compare ...
What does everyone think about this?

John, Seeing both the color and B/W really helps see the beauty of the color and texture of this dandelion. However, the vertical line really detracts from the image. I think using a gradient mask for a subtle transition would really make this photo neat. Best regards, Ryan.
