Background:
My family and I were walking down around Utah lake during the evening. Although very cold, the water was still and the wild heath growing around the lake was a magnificent gold. My daughter pictured, looked very funny not being able to put her arms down to her sides.
In This Photo:
[PS]I decided to make this photo appear vintage and wanted to try a new style. Creating a new layer, I selected a picture of a piece of parchment with a crease in the upper left corner. Place this layer in front of the photo and increase the size to cover your entire picture. I changed the blending mode from 'normal' to 'soft light', this helps make the parchment more subtle. For a slightly stronger look, I duplicated the parchment layer and adjusted it's opacity. Lastly, using the 'burn' tool I quickly went around the edges of the photo and added a border. |
