[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The early morning wake up and the hike up the slopes of Mount Maunganui was worth it. To be able to witness and capture an image of the glorious sunrise over the long deserted beach made my day.

I experimented with shutter speeds but there was not much time as it was amazing just how fast the sun moves upwards in the sky.

This is an awesome first photo to post on TL. Spectacular POV used to capture this sunrise over the Mount. I also like the wave formations. Well photographed.

Hi Paul!! What a view indeed!! I live in Papamoa and work down the Mount, I have climbed the Mout Maunganui few times, but never at sunrise... it looks like i have been missing on something!! gorgeous picture!! well done for waking up early!! it was worth it!!
