No, this is not a modern colosseum even if it resembles the Roman Colosseum but the Vancouver Public Library. Architect Moshe Safdie had partnered with the local architect Downs/Archambault on this project. This library is right on the central business district of Vancouver. The library and the library square is bounded by Robson, Homer, West Georgia and Hamilton Street.

nice angle of composition to present different vertical, horizontal and curves of architecture art. good lighting and colors too. i still learning on shooting building with my swa lens. tfs, Andre
Fantastic shoe Andre. Love the really tall view, and of course the curving colosseum-like structure, the reflections, the sky .. .just a fantastic shot.Love it!
