Crazy geological shapes!!! Makes me think of the Hoodoos in Alberta, but these are even stranger. Very interesting ...
Perfect clarity, sharpness, colors... love the sky. Nice job.

Very eyecatching - and an amazing testiment to the ever-changing earth and the power of erosion.
Great POV and nice use of the wide lens, good rich saturation in the sky. The only thing I'm missing here is a sense of scale - so hard to tell how high this thing is. I'm guessing about 2 metres but I could be wrong?

Hi David, I must say that these are interesting structures. They do look like mushrooms! Nice shadows cast on the ground too. I cannot believe how clear the air looks in the last two photos.
How tall were these "shrooms"? Just curious. :) Lisa

wowww... it seems that your wide-angle makes very effective perspective David. This rock realy resembles a mushroom but its shadow looks like a hammer:) A great dark blue sky thanks to polarizer stand out well the subject.
TFS this natural beauty.

Hello David.
Looks very 'tasty', haha Can see you took a bite already.
Bulgaria ? This looks more to a dessert view near Hatta.
Good looking picture with the stunning blue sky.
The "Family Picture" in the WS, is even more atractive.
A good one for the front page of the album.!
Cheers from Jan

Hey Bro!
I was wondering where you've been - no new images for a while! Finally got to Bulgaria hey?
So sharp and clear and good saturation. Good contrast between the sky and stone.

Hi David
It looks like a gecko, with a dislocated front foot. Or maybe my imagination is overactive? Wonderful colour contrasts, between the yellow ochre rock, & blue sky. Tfs!

Hi David,
again you captured quite an interesting formation in Bulgaria, colours are nicely saturated and look fantastic on this photo. I like the way you handle this strong sunlight, the effect of polarizer is certainly useful here. Clear and crisp exposition, you gave us a wonderful scene! TFS!
Cheers,
Kristof

Hi David,
I'm lagging behind I see...
This is such a wonderful clear picture, I'm amazed and happy to see what is possible with a D200 :-) Superb contrast and brightness, no OE in the bright parts and the blue sky really enhances the "mushroom". Nothing to say about the sharpness, this is as most of your pictures spot on! Good to see you and your family in the WS.

David, great catch! It reminds me of the dinosaur period of the earth with one of the giant lizards immortalized in stone. Loved your workshop, too. Great photography all around!
