This is a gorgeous still life and so well composed! Perfect sharpness, warm natural colors and wondeful lighting. Great placement of the flower within the frame. Very nice work. By the way, the workshop is fantastic in its own right - you could have posted it separately and I'm sure it would have gotten a lot of positive attention.

Hello Sue,

On a daily basis we view a lot of very good photos here on TL but only a handful of great ones. This makes part of the latter group. The detail is incredible, I can almost feel the texture of the leaf only by viewing your photo. You reached your aim in making a pleasing composition with flying colours!

The workshop is really nice, I agree with messenger1, it has a beauty of its own. The partialy hidden flower gives it more interest.

Hi Sue,
I can't see why anyone could complain about viewing this "Flower Image" if there was, I would suggest they go out & try & capture one as good as this. Great details & colour as is your WS image.Great angle leading to a strong composition.Out of curiosness is there any PP work done to this image,not that it would matter if there were,just would like to know for my own interests.
