Hi bryan

I would just sharpen the fg horse & rider a little more. Reasonably good use of a shallow dof, with excellent framing & perspective. Tfs!

great expression captured on this youngster's face! nice pov and detail-well seen!

I love horse's photography. You can watch them on my page.

Hi Bryan,

It's a no bad photo but could be a smidgen sharper but that's difficult to get right when the subject is still moving. The Galashiels Common Riding looks to have been a success, the colours are very good, great narrow dof well done in a difficult situation.

Regards
Jon

Hi Bryan, Great shot of this proud youngster, I think you could sharpen it a tad and increase saturation to bring out the colour a bit more, DoF and framing of the subject is great - the poor pony looks knackered! TFS

What a proud smile indeed, right place @ the right time.
I like that you have blurred everything except the young rider Brian ,it really makes him the main subject with no conflicts from any other subject, his facial expression is what this image is all about, good capture.Perhaps a tad more detail in his face could have been gotten, but that said, you still have captured a wonderful happy moment for this young lad,if you know him Brian,I'm sure he would be over the moon to get a copy of this image.

Ron

Yes you can feel the Pride of the young boy riding the horse at the center. very nice capture.
