[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Polish]
Cave in Mechowo. The only one this type in Poland and in Northern Europe, the geological peculiar, came into being in grounds of moraine hill, as a result of rinse of sand from among the sedimentary rocks, cemented with carbonate of calcium, and by this more resistant to erosion. The low corridor of several-dozen-metre length runs in depth of hill. Dripstone forms occure in him: the stalactites and the glazes, partly coloured on red colour thanks to presence of compound of iron dissolved in water .
The oldest mention about cave in Mechowo comes from 1818, when it was accidentally uncovered during geodetic works. In 1908 Prussian authorities regarded it for monument of nature.

Bom dia Robert,
Curious rocky formation. Nice "architecture" and excellent capture: focus, colors, details and POV.
Very good,
