[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Along Hwy. 97 leading to klamath Falls from Weed there is a turnoff stating that the road leads to the Mt. Shasta Wilderness Area. The turnoff is about 10 miles or so out of Weed, and this shot of Mt. Shasta, standing at over 14,000 feet was taken along this road.

Hi Steve
amazing dof and blue color
perfect light and POV
i like it!

My best wishes and a creative week!

Oana

Good morning Steve,

This is like turning the clock back, for me!
My mother used to have a mural like this on her dining room wall! I knew immediately that it was Mt Shasta, though I never, previously, knew the location

I well composed shot taken from a good pov, using the f/g vegetation for interest as a fine contrast with the high mountain b/g and the striking blue sky.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Postcrd shot. Great capture of colour and perfect timing with the light. Composition sits well with the off-centre balance of mountains and tree.
Personally I think the frame is overdone, white or black is simple and un-distracting, both seems unnecessary.

Hi Steve,
A perfect composition in rich well saturated colors. The contrasts in color and light and stunning. Well done and TFs. gerald

hi steve, i actually like the frame it ties it all in nicely, it has wonderful colors and a nice composition, it perhaps looks a little over PP'd a little? i cant quite put my finger on it, however at first glance very eye pleasing--so thumbs up for me!
thanks scott
