You nailed the wide focus range perfectly to get a very sharp photo of the entire flower, that is what I like to see. the colours of the flower are beautiful and you brought them out subtley with nice lighting....... beauty .... to me they look like Hosta Booms........ thanks my friend........Roman:0)

Nice shot of this unknown flower. I like the vertical composition and the natural light in this shot. Like the other post the black BG really lets the natural color and beauty of the flower stand out. Nice work Scott.

Natural light specialy when its a bit dark like here is nice but also hard to control
you kept the dtails of the upperpart of the flower well,good combining the dark background.
