When I got home from the park and looked at this shot I wondered why I had taken it till I looked closer and saw the little bird. Thanks for looking. Can you see it?

Hi David & hello TL neighbour!

Yes, I see the small yellow breasted bird, amongst the dense foliage. It camouflages well with the yellow flowers. Good colour, sharpness & framing. Tfs!

Of course I do. Good trick, and photo where you did the spot behind the branches. Good colours with bird almost the same colours of all detils. I liked this...

First of all I really love all of the colors. The detail is very good, and yes, I see the little birdie. It's wonderful how they blend into their environment. TFS

Hey David,

I understand your exercise here, but am going to critique this image on its own merits.

You subject matter isn't really defined here. Everything in the frame has the same brightness, contrast, and saturation, making it very difficult to determine your intended subject. Sharpness is good, as is DOF. The branch bisecting the bird really gets in the way.

Again, I understand that your point was to demonstrate the little guy's camouflage, but photographically, I'm not sure it really works.
