Sweet Darlin' - She & Him
Took this photo by setting the lens on manual focus, and used the timer. This was taken out in the countryside in Port Coquitlam by Minnekhada Regional Park. Gorgeous part of BC.
PP: grayscaled, then used the duotone (well tritone) colours, set it back to RGB, sharpened and blurred here n there, added the frame, and there you go. |

This is a good photo. I like the sepia tone. I like the sharpness of the picture. One little thing that I am picky about is the guy's strong consciousness. He is less relaxed. Sothy

i love your color toning here the most. the composition comes next. i love your placement of the couple and your attempted inclusion of the road in perspective. but with a 50mm lens (acting like a 75mm on the d200), getting perspective is not easy.
oh, and i have to agree with sothy81 that the guy seems a little too conscious.
but the setting, the pose and the overall feeling i get from the image is 'very good' :)
