This must be the most attractive port that I have ever seen!
I like you pov which gives a slight curve to the water's edge producing a wonderful 3D effect from the bushes and their mirror-like reflections.
Excellent sharp focus and fine composition.

Hi Scott,I think everything that should be said has been said,I would just like to say the the richness of the colours captured really hit me, wow.
I may have cloned out the wires about a third down to the left
but thats just me,they take nothing away from this vibrant image.

great view of the Chelsea Sugar Refinery, another famous Auckland icon, the PoV is VG and the colours are certainly rich and vibrant - did you use a polarising filter?

Excellent reflection and very strong colour saturation.

There is quite a definite line in the foreground where the colour of the water changes to very deep blue.

hi Scott,
this reflecting effect on the water is very nice, it makes a little wonder and strange space in this picture. it is interesting for my eyes.
perhaps the dark shadow portions of trees and sky show us hidden feeling beyond superficial image...fine rippled surface of water screens the real sensation out.

Hopefully I won't disturb your party on this picture. Indeed a fine composition with a stunning reflection. For sure you do have a good eye for landscape images!
What me boders are the colours. In my opinion they are over saturated, particular the bluish tone doesn't look natural and the greens are a bit to green. Anyway made a WS to show what I mean. So far this is my honest opinion about this posting.

Hidden treasures, eh? I never knew this place existed - and what a great capture! I do like the rich, deep saturation of blues and greens in this shot - interesting the dark/greyish patch of sky immediately above the factory, trying to determine whether it's distant rain, God expressing disapproval of the sugar industry, or a glitch in post-work?

Looking at the ws by Greenbaron I can see what he is trying to say but if photography is about producing a pleasing image then I would say you have succeeded and all the comments are evidence of this. Considering all the hdr useage today I see no problem with a little oversaturation ;-) Lovely image TFS

Sometimes it's said on TrekLens that points do not always reflect the quality of the photo, it may be true in some cases,but here it is surely not. Really one of your best photos with fantastic shades of green and blue colours, saturation is nice. Probably not very natural, but I think it's not a problem thi case, becuse you present something 'magical' and 'unreal' as an ideal scene. Good job, I like this shot!
