| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a picture of my grandmother's watch. She is 90 years old by now and wanted to pass it on to me with "warm hands" as she said. I hope to have inherited her genetic data for a long healthy live. She is still living in her own appartement, doing her gardening and is always busy doing something. Although she is complaining that her back hurts after an hour of gardening and that she has to use a cane since last year, I guess she knows how lucky she is.. :)
To take the photo, I cleaned out one part of a dark grey shelf and tried some positions for the watch.
PP: rotated to the right 4 degrees, changed into b/w, cropped a little tighter, enhanced contrast +10 and increased light -5, added frame.
I hope you like it.
Have a nice week ahead,
Heike |

Hi Heike,
Nice still life shot, you have a great contrast and fabulous DoF in this image, rotating the picture works well and you have framed up nice, the simple border also works well. TFS

Hello Heike,
This is another interesting picture of series on your still-life capture. First and foremost, I like the way you have focused in on your grandmother's watch and set it against the simply dark background. I think the detail and depth of field are also good. I really appreciate your skillful still photo.
My best wishes to your grandmother and many thanks for sharing,
Eungbong
