[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
First picture I'm posting with my new camera (Nikon D70). Man I love this camera! I shot this today at Grand Central in NYC on July 4th on my way back from spending the weekend at home in Connecticut. I'm still trying to learn the camera. Photoshop: cropped and sharpened after converting to B&W.

Hey Daniel, congradulations on your new camera! :) I spent weeks just reading the manual over and over and I still don't know everything that my camera does! This is a very nicely composed photo. I think a little more contrast were the people are and the on the flag might be nice. Other then that I like this a lot.
Nice job. JP

Great shot Daniel
The composition is very good, using black and white was a good choice too.
Nice Job

Nice centered shot. I like how you captured the vastness of this amazing building. I used to travel from Westchester passing by this great hall and now I am trying to search to see if I know any of my old friends there -
lol.
Where's Waldo?

Great image
BW works well here
composition is very good
found pic a little dark where people are
I've adjusted contrast in workshop
lovely image
Thanks
Dave R

I really like your shots, especially the black and white ones. I think the subject matter in this shot is nicely balanced, with all the people in the bottom, and the architectural design filling up the remainder. The flag in the top is also an interesting element, drawing the eye back in.
