[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Really, I am not able to estimate my own photos... This one is like of glamour - but in a style I do not like very much. But I like this photo - probably because I know this woman and she is my good, long time friend. On the other hand - you do not know her, you cannot see even her face, so... I like this photo not because of what I see on it, but because of what I imagine looking at it. But you have only what you see...

Photography is a matter of context...

Hi Piotr!

Well, I think that's what glamour is for.. to get the viewer to start imagining.. for me it worked and not only after reading the notes.. TFS!

Best regards,
Andor

This works really well, I love it! The black & white gives it a nice depth of mystery and I particularly like the way the sunlight on her skin and the shadow of the hat is clearly visible, it's really effective. Great work. TFS :o)

what I see ? I seek lace of light too...

beau noir et blanc Piotr, merci,

seek lace of light

Very glamour shot .I like the gray tones .nice composition TFS!

Best regards,
Andor

hi piotr,
you note says something very true - photography is a matter of context.
I really think you created a timeless image here - the b/w, the way she is dressed, the pose - it could very well be shot in the '50s. you played subtly with lights and shadows, especially on her skin. the focus on her dress is a very sensual touch.
