Hi friends

It's time to take a break with dolomites!
I think you've get enough!

This is my first experiment of merging raw three
-1/0/+1 exposured shots in one HDR.
I've used Photomatix pro 3 to merge and I've refined the hdr (in jpeg) by my old (but still valid) Picasa...

The sight is a kind (in my opinion) tuscanian sunset in the backyard of my little home.

Hi Andrea,
Nice first experiment with HDR. The only problem here is with the haloing around the edges of the building and trees - quite inevitable if you go too low with the 'light smoothing' settings in Photomatix Pro.

Try going to the next level up when tone mapping, it should eliminate any haloing while still giving you the same sort of effect you were going for. Have a play around with the 'white point' settings too, seems to help in certain situations.

I'm quite surprised that there is no noticeable noise/grain despite the high ISO, I usually shoot at ISO 100 when taking multiple exposures so I think you've done well here. The colours are very rich and vibrant as a result of the HDR process also.

For the most part, this is a good job - and I look forward to seeing more HDRs from you in the near future.

A me piace molto questa foto.
Mi sembra ottima come nitidezza. Bellissima atmosfera. Splendido il rosso del sole (sembra quasi un incendio) che spicca nel cielo grigio.
Molto belle le varie sfumature di verde.
Rovinano un po' l'atmosfera (ma non dipende certo da te) le antenne TV e i fili dello stendibiancheria :-)))
Conosco poco l'inglese e non capisco le osservazioni di Scott..Addirittura 1 punto...
Quando hai voglia e tempo, e se vuoi, mi puoi dire in poche parole le note di Scott? E' per imparare. Grazie.
