Wow, what a pleasing shot with such a peaceful and adorable sunrise. The colors are all around in the sky. I like the mood in the picture. The sharpness and POV are just ideal, as always in your shots. A small tree (plant) growing abondonly in the lake is just awesome. Simply a great harmony of colors!

Very nice shot. From the EXIF I'm guessing it's a HDR shot - if so, beautifully managed, there is none of that HDR feeling; it's a natural, rich image with excellent dynamics. Nice subtle frame too!

You just shut out my 4th Texas Excellence Award theme! killer shot! It doesn't get much better than this Scott! The scene is nicely balanced between the sun, and the tree and the shoreline! Super color, looks like it's got a hint of a soft focus, or it's a side effect of the HDR...either way, I see romance!

This one has a really nice and peaceful atmosphere that reminds me of mornings I spent photographing too. It's another world when you're up before everyone on a shore..

Stunning shot! This hardly needs more critiques, but couldn't resist staring at it for a while, so thought it deserved some words of appreciation:) I like how the composition combines both centralized elements with asymetrical features for a nicely balanced result. The water surface is beautifully satin and shimmering, expanding the whole scene with its reflective effects. The more I look the more I find enjoyable details, like the mottling shadows from the overhead clouds. Of course the sunrise colors and highlights steal the show, but there is much more to go with them. Excellent!

I don't know what to say; it' all great! POV, colours, atmosphere... I like this photo very much.
Great description and wonderful work although the standard lens (the Canon 18-55mm).
The desaturation on the top and on the bottom of the photo increase the attention on the sunshine.
All beautiful.
