| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A while ago, I came across so called multiplicity photos in an orkut album. I was fascinated, messaged the "creator" and complimented him on the pictures. He was pleased, we started talking and in the past months, he has been giving me a lot of useful advice for this and other kinds of photography (HDR being only of them).
A few sundays ago now, my friend C. came over and when I saw her sitting there in my kitchen, I remembered those pictures. She immediately agreed to the idea of trying something like that with her (yes, to the result being published here, too) and added ideas of her own as well.
So I mounted my tripod, we marked the spot where the glass would be, I took several photos of hers on either side, then pasted her as an additional layer into one and cropped very closely around the actual person. Merged the layers, sharpened and resized for TL.
PS: "Nimm zwei" means 'take two' and is the name of a local candy brand.. |

Hello Soya !
An excellent image.
... Full of life and German traditions.
Have a beautiful evening,
Adrian
Hi Soya,
Very original idea, clever thinking. Looks like it worked well. I just noticed that we use the same camera :). To be picky, the image looks a little tilted (see the roof and left window to see what I mean). The clarity and colours look good however, I must try this some time.
TFS,
Scott.
Hi Soya,
Like this kind of photography, it's funny and well composed! Great PP work I forgive you the tilt in the image, but you give a good example of how TL can be used to improve the photographic skills. Great post!
Hans
Hi
Beautiful picture ,Soya , and nice to see u in TL after a long gap. This photo cud be viewd as a good example for an innovative idea, properly capturing the required scenes/subjects and implementing that idea thru an excellent PP work.Though we all take photos and do some PP work, there will be some flaws here n there, either in the photo or in the PP work,LOL. But this work of urs shows that with a lil dedication and forethought, people can do wonders with their camera, than simply taking pictures .
Having said that ,lemme say ur friend " C " has enough patience and posed beautifully for the photo session. Keep posting more such pics.
TFS
Have a NiceDay :)
