I spent the weekend on the bike, ouch! haha! Did 55 miles this weekend on the bicycle. I spent Sunday morning with Red and Graeme Cracker (some of you know them well) and we had a marvelous time. Then Red and I went and talked for HOURS at a local diner...just resting.
I love the light through the trees here. Because of the contrast I did a really high F-stop, and even though they are in motion, this came out well! Hand Held.
B-)

Hi Linda & good luck with your training!

I like the meandering elongated 's' shape of the path. Good lighting, sharpness & natural looking pastel colours. Tfs!

Beautiful bike trail!

Hello linda,

The dappled pathway leads beautifully through the tall upright trees, towards the well-placed, pair of focal cyclists and on towards the second focal point.
The light is lovely.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

hi linda.
i like the shadows in this one. the road leads nicely into the image and makes me want to know what is around the corner.

i hope you can sit properly after your cycling?
HUGS AND KISSES,
Brian

Hi Linda,
The composition shows a splendid day and a good perspective. The play of light is nicely rendered, here!
Bright and rispy details on the foliage.
Beautiful! Annie

Hi Linda,
I really like scenes like this. It would look so plain and uninteresting without the people in the shot, so good job to catch them as they ride on through. I'm going to have to be picky though - There is a visible sun spot in the middle of the photo that could do with cloning out. The mixture of shadows and highlights are very nice however, and a good job for a hand-held shot at 1/40s.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi Linda,
Good place and great photo. Congratulations. TFS.

Hi Linda,
I like the idea here, back light and harsh shadows. The bikers are nicely captured, although I would have used the right edge of the road as lead in. Also would have adjusted the brightness a bit, so I made a WS to show what I mean. Nonetheless a fine posting Linda!

I agree it did come out well hand held! Nice job.. I know those 2 =) Nice to see them riding off down the path. Sure looks like the bike paths we have up here... well for another month =)

Enjoy your week ~~~

Hi Linda...you do a great job with saturation and tones....I am amazed at how you take a normal shot and make it art.....nice work.
