Kinkakuji

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the Kinkakuji, a Zen Buddhist temple whose upper two floors are coated with gold-leaf, located in Kyoto, Japan. More about the temple here.
The picture is an HDR taken with a tripod. The place was really crowded so it was hard to find a POV without including a bunch of tourists in the frame. Here is did some adjustments on the color saturation, temperature, sharpness and tickled the shadow/highlight balance. |

Hello Rodrigo
This a spectacular image. I like the pov, color, and your effort to evade the tourist. Nice work
Regards
Jimmy
Hi Rodrigo,
Nice tone mapping during the HDR process, the thick cloud coverage suits well. Great composition and reflections too. To be picky, I would have cloned out the thin branches entering the bottom left of the frame - They just seem a little out of place and tend to catch my attention. Very rich green colours, the sharpness looks excellent. Well done - All out of smileys for the day unfortunately.
TFS,
Scott.
