P.O.V. or point of view

Sometimes looking up surprises me with nice light of old buildings, like her in the Basilique Saint-Sernin in Toulouse (France).

I like the play of light in the different open windows in the top of the cathedral, worth to make a picture and to show it on TL.

Took this shot with ISO 1000 ASA, f/4 and 1/15 hand held.

PP work: shot in RAW, small adjustment of highlights, brightness and contrast. Resized, sharpened and add frame.

WOW!~! I love the angles in this Hansie!! Excellent details. The angles makes this work very well! There is a rustic, warm color feel to it, the makes it show it's age! I like this!

Nice compo (or POV I should say) with the diagonals running everywhere.. The light is very soft and the details very clear.. Nice shot!!

:-) altijd een leuk effect en altijd heel moeilijk te pakken, dit soort ruimten...
Mooie balans van het licht en ondanks de lange sluitertijd toch een mooi scherp resultaat. Goe gedoan joggie!

Yes, I like the play of light here too Hans. It looks like an impressive building and the shapes and colours of the archways look so good.
Is there no glass in the windows up there? It must get cold!! Brrrrrr
Well shot - excellent POV

Hi Hans,
Sorry to have missed your last photos!
This kind of architectural photo are not easy to do!
They have often strong distortions. But yours is exempted of these defaults! The play of lines is terrific, here!
Very good low POV and rendering of the colors patina. I like what I see much! Bravo! Annie

Om eerlijk te zijn...vind het POV erg mooi!
Ook de diepte in de hoeken vind ik erg mooi! Prachtig licht en kleuren. Goed bijpassend frame.
Goed gezien en vastgelegd!
