Experimental PP work - adding sunlight coming through a window - original in WS
ISO400 F22 1/2 sec
Focal length 18mm
Technique - courtesy of Yannik's Photo School
Add new layer.
Using polygon lasso tool to create cone shaped beam.
Fill shape with FG set to white.
Deselect and add Gaussian blur to soften edges.
Reduce opacity to about 25%.
New layer.
Add gradient (black to transparent) from the bottom of beam to gradually fade it.
Add a touch of colour (red/yellow) to beam using blurred brush at 2% opacity |

Ha! Love that technique - thanks for sharing it! Works very well here but I can see it having a brilliant effect for portrait shots, too.
