Jellyfish on Shore
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
What I understand, the habitat of jellyfish is somewhere around the deep sea. It was surprising to see them on shore. What has happened to the nature?
Though, one of friend who has spent years living on beach area said that jellyfish always come to the shore on a season.
Hm... Hope that is right, so it is decreasing my pathetic worriedness about all changes in our planet.
Taken at Jom Tien Beach, Thailand, mid of August 2008.

Hi Imelda,
Very interesting finding...I can imagine how you felt because a couple of weeks ago I found one too, although quite different, more like a sea-slug. I had never seen anything like it before. I helped it back into the water.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
There is not much we can do about what is happening to our planet except teaching our descendants to respect it and respecting it ourselves as well.
Regards,

Greetings Imelda,
Your friend I think is right,I know I have seen many on the beach like this one.Though to some this would not be a very pleasing subject to the eye,but it is difficult to capture with it's natural colouring,& transparency as well as you have,I also like the froth of the receding sea.Well taken
