Having absolutely no time to grab the camera for weeks, I'm relying on shots from earlier in the year.
Here's a shot of Davide Valsecchi racing through Farm, taken during the British GP2 free practice on the Friday.
It was a relatively quiet day as far as spectators go which gave me pretty good vantage points throughout the course, and for this shot I was virtually on my own in the stands.
To show a sense of speed, i wanted to get the wheels blurred, so opted for a sensible hand holdable shutter speed.
Taking a meter reading from the neutral grey track, i adjusted the aperture in manual mode to give me a good aperture for depth on the subject , but not so much as to keep the foreground or background in sharp focus.
I also reduced iso to 100 for a less grainy picture.
Hand held, panned, and fired at will as the cars went past.
I will get my hands back on the camera soon..
Hope you like it,
cheers.
