Hello Andrew,
This photo has something incongruous, but yet it seems to be a true image of daily life. I like the moment you captured here and the way you did it, evoking rather than showing, which makes it more powerful (and humouristic, indeed).
Photographically, I have no remarks: B&W, contrasts and compo look 100% appropriate. The main quality of this photo lies in the momentum and you didn't fail to notice it. I suppose that's what one needs to be a good street photographer ;o).

An entertaining moment. Certainly a good photo opportunity - although shooting against the light means that the pigeon-on-the-hand is quite dark and hard to see.

Did you have a chance to zoom in closer?

If you zoomed, you could get the pigeon, the arm, and the window - and you would have a shallow field of focus with a blurred background, so it would be a more simple photograph.
